Naked burger 


Naked burger? From leftovers? Yes, leftovers. Why leftovers?, because I had only 3 mushrooms left, a little bit of cooked quinoa and half can of black beans in my fridge. Never throw your leftovers you can do the best food with your leftovers always. This recipe is oil free.

Ingredients:

3 Mini Portobello mushrooms

1/2 cup of cooked Quinoa

1/2 can of black beans

1 teaspoon of onion powder

1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder

2 cloves of garlic

1 teaspoon liquid smoke

1 teaspoon Vegan Worcestershire

1 teaspoon egg replacer (from Red Mill)

1/3 cup of a red bell pepper

1/3 cup of brown rice (optional)

A little bit of cilantro

1/2 cup of oatmeal

Salt and pep to taste

Method:


Just add all ingredients to a food processor and blend.

Then shape into burger patty shapes about 3/4 inch thick. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the patties on the pan and bake for 15 minutes. Flip, bake for 15 more minutes. Remove from oven. I prepared 5, it depends on the size.


Tips:

Serve on hamburger buns, or naked with rice and beans and go with the classic: vegan mayo, ketchup, mustard, lettuce, tomato and onion.
