French toast

ingredients:


4 or 6 slices of bread

2 cups of almond milk*

1 teaspoon of Vanilla extract

2 teaspoon of maple syrup

A dash of egg salt(kala namak)*

2 teaspoon of Organic flaxseeds

2 teaspoon of Nutritional yeast (I'm using Noochylicious brand)

2 teaspoon any vegan pancake mix*


*Notes:

1.For the milk you can use any Plant based milk but Almond or Coconut milk for me is the best flavor to prepare French toast.

2.The egg salt is going to add a delicate egg flavor. Is optional but highly recommended

3. Pancake mix is optional but it will add consistency to the mix.

4. To serve add lemon juice to the fruits, maple syrup and lemon zest to elevate the flavor!

Method:


Add all ingredients except the bread to a bowl and mix very well and set apart. (Wait 10 minutes)


2.Preheat griddle to medium heat (~350 degrees F / 176 C) and grease with 1 Tbsp vegan butter.

3.Dip each slice of bread in the batter to soak them for 10 seconds. If your bread is very dry soak it a little bit more.

4.Place on griddle and cook until golden brown. Carefully flip and cook the other side until golden.
