Easy yellow rice

Hello my fellow people! Today I want to share an easy but nutritive Yellow rice. I hope you like this recipe. Is oil free.


2 cups Brown rice

4 cups of water(for the rice)

1/2 yellow onion

4 garlic

1 cup leeks

1 tablespoon of Turmeric powder

Himalayan salt to taste


1. Wash the rice always

2. In a pan we are going to sauté the garlic, the leek and the onion. to sauté them we will use water. If the water evaporates you will add more. Add a little salt and black pepper to taste. Cook for about 5 minutes.

3. In other pot add your 4 cups of water and the rice, salt to taste. Use hi temperature first and once is boiling use low temperature.

4. Add the leek, the onions, garlic and the rest of ingredients stir to mix everything and cook for about 20 minutes or until your rice is tender.



You can serve your rice with beans, salad, any kind of vegetables, Yellow plantains and avocado!
