Easy Carbonara sauce


This is a sauce that you will love it because is very easy and you just have to expend 5 minutes. Yes 5 minutes! Isn't wonderful? Let me share the ingredients with you.


Ingredients for the sauce:


1 cup raw cashews

1 1/2 cup of water

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 lemon juice

1/4 cup Nutritional yeast

2 cloves of garlic


Other ingredients:

1 cup of mushrooms

1/2 cup of water

1 tsp vegan butter

1 tsp liquid smoke

1/4 white wine

2 tsp Low sodium Amino

1/2 white onion


Method:


Note:

If you do not have a high speed blender I recommend to be soaked the cashews for about 2 hours before you blend everything.

Add all the ingredients for the sauce to the high speed blender left the other ingredients apart and blend for about 1 minute. While you are blending the sauce ingredients add 1 cup of mushrooms, I like mini Portobello mushrooms, 1/2 onion half onion well cut, 1tsp vegan butter and 1/4 cup of white wine and sauteed in high temperature to evaporate the alcohol (for the wine use a white vegan wine of your preference) for about 2 minutes, at this point you add the cashew sauce plus an additional 1/2 of water. Stir just for about 1 or 2 minutes to thicken the sauce in medium low temperature and adjust the flavors if you need to.

Once your sauce is ready serve with your favorite Pasta.
