Easy Basil pesto

Hi my friends! Today I want to share my oil free Basil pesto recipe. There is no necessity of oil because the pine nuts have a natural good fat. I love pasta since I was a little girl. My favorite pasta is Penne pasta and Spaghetti. I hope you like my recipe, please feel free to left comments! And if you prepare my recipe please use #veganndelicious.


2 cups fresh basil

1/4 cup pine nuts (lightly toasted)

1/3 cup Nutritional yeast

1/4 cup water(you can substitute with low sodium vegetable broth) I just used water

3 cloves of garlic

Mineral o sea salt to taste


Heat a skillet over medium-high temperature

and toast pine nuts until golden, tossing occasionally. Once they are golden transfer them to the high speed blender and add the rest of the ingredients and blend, we are looking for a creamy texture. I used 1/4 cup of water but if you need more liquid add a little bit more. 2 or 3 tablespoons of liquid will be fine.

Serving sugestions:

Spaghetti or Penne pasta or your pasta preference.
