Belgian Waffles

Hello friends!

Some time ago I was about to buy a waffle maker to prepare waffles. Well, finally I got one at a very good price in Costco and today I want to share my version of Belgian waffles. If you do not have one of this you can always adapt your recipe. Or use the same for other waffle maker.

Ingredients:

2 cups Gluten free all purpose flour.(I like King Arthur flour)

Dash of mineral salt

1 teaspoon of baking powder

1/2 apple sauce(the egg substitute for 2 eggs)

1/4 vegetable oil

1 teaspoon of vanilla

Method:

1. First in a big bowl combine the dry ingredients.

2. Add the liquid ingredients.

3. Mix very well. (I used a stainless steel whisker) how ever you can use a high speed blender too but is not necessary.

4.Preheat the waffle maker to the desired setting. I used the number 5 because I love this golden color and crunchy texture. A tone will sound when is ready. Now add the mixture. For this waffle maker I added like 1 cup and 1/4 of mixture approximately if you need to add a little more do it. You will know. Then you just have to wait until you hear the beeps. The sound is going to tell you that is ready.
